Attorney Frank G. Meanor, Jr.
concentrates in estate planning, corporate and tax law. As a part of
his estate planning practice he has assisted individual clients with
wills, trusts, powers of attorney and health care documents. He has
counseled corporations, partnerships and sole practitioners on the
implications of mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and divisive
reorganizations.
As a professor at Boston
University’s School of Management, Attorney Meanor served as Director of
the Accounting MBA Program and as Chair of the School’s Academic Conduct
Committee. He has published many articles in the area of taxation and
business and was a co-author of two textbooks on taxation. In addition
to his publications, he has served as an Editor for the Boston
University School of Law Tax Journal. His articles on tax law have been
incorporated into court opinions including the United States Supreme
Court. He is a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Estate
Planning.
Attorney Meanor received his
Master of Law in Taxation (L.L.M.) from Boston University in 1986, and
his law degree from Creighton University where he graduated cum laude.
He graduated cum laude from the University of Miami with a B.B.A. in
1980. He is a member of the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Bar
Associations. Attorney Meanor is also admitted to the U.S. District
Court, District of Massachusetts and District of New Hampshire; the U.S.
Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and to the United States Tax
Court. |
